Overview
The 2021 Paringa Estate Single Vineyard "The Paringa" Pinot Noir 750ml is the flagship Pinot Noir from Paringa Estate, one of Mornington Peninsula's most celebrated wineries. Produced exclusively from the original estate vineyard planted in 1985, this single-vineyard release represents the pinnacle of the estate's Pinot Noir program, combining power, elegance and remarkable site expression.
Crafted by Lindsay McCall and Jamie McCall, The Paringa Pinot Noir is a benchmark cool-climate Australian Pinot, renowned for its precision, complexity and exceptional ageing potential. With meticulous vineyard management and restrained winemaking, the 2021 vintage beautifully captures the character of the Red Hill subregion and the unique maritime climate of Mornington Peninsula.
Vintage & Winemaking
The 2021 growing season delivered excellent ripening conditions across Mornington Peninsula, producing fruit with outstanding purity, concentration and natural balance. The mature estate vines, planted in 1985, yielded intensely flavoured berries while retaining vibrant acidity and aromatic lift, creating an elegant yet structured Pinot Noir built for long-term cellaring.
Fruit was hand harvested from the original estate vineyard before undergoing small-batch fermentation. The wine was matured in French oak barriques, allowing the vineyard's character to remain the focal point while adding subtle texture, spice and complexity. The result is a finely detailed Pinot Noir with exceptional length, mineral tension and seamless integration.
